I thought the dish was quite good. The apple cidar vinegar was a little overpowering though...so I wish I would have reduced the amount I added. Also, the apples got really mushy given how long they cooked -- I think next time I would add them after the cabbage has softened.
We enjoyed this seasonal dish! It was full of winter flavors and a pleasant tartness from the apples. I used boneless prok chops and added a little crushed red pepper for kick!
I am such a slacker again! I am going to make this and have all the ingredients, I just didn't get around to it. My hubs was sick and I didn't want to eat this by myself. I will get it done soon though.
