I just made this for dinner-it was really easy. I don't think I cooked down the tomatoes to reduce the juice enough. Once I added in the shrimp, they put off a lot of liquid so this was soupier than it looked in the book. I also think it could have used some hot pepper flakes or other seasoning. It was tasty but I know I could have done a better job.
I thought this was great and very easy to make! I only used one can of tomatoes and added tomato paste and white wine to jazz up the flavor a bit. I thought the feta made this the perfect dish. I served it over linguine and loved it! I will definitely be making this again.
I'm cheating again. I'll be making the recipe tomorrow and wanted to take a peak at all your suggestions. I just can't play fair, but I'm glad I checked.
We've had this dish several times, and always loved it! I gave this dish quite a twist this time subbing the feta for cream cheese, and adding spinach and capers!
I was very pleased with this dish - I am always looking for new ways to fix seafood, since I seem to be in a rut. Thanks for a great recipe for my start with all of you!

ReplyDeletedo you think I could substitute chicken in this and it would taste okay? I'm allergic to shellfish.
ReplyDeletePeggy...I think that you could definetly sub chicken in this recipe. That might be good. Go for it!
