Yes! I am excited to make this one with some tomato soup. How is everyone else feeling about it?

  1. i'm looking forward to it! my husband is a grilled cheese purist (i.e. no onions or tomato for him) so i'll probably have to enjoy it alone. i'm thinking instead of pepper jack i'm just going to use another type of white cheese and add chopped jalapeno...

  3. I made these a couple weeks ago and they were great! The tomato was a little overwpowering for me (I don't like fresh tomato though) so I would leave that out next time.

  4. I made these (twice!) and may have used too much heat because the first one burned and the second one was very very brown. I'd suggest shredding the cheese since it will melt better (I sliced and it didn't get as melty as I like). I also added a very light schmear of pepper jelly to up the sweet/spicy profile.

  5. This sounds great. I like grilled cheese sandwiches and they don't sound like they compare to this. I am going to try to fit it in. I still have ten meals to make, each with several courses.

  7. I made these Monday night and they were great! Since I didn't have the right cheese on hand, I used what I had and took Lauralop's suggestion of adding chopped jalapeno with it. Awesome. I made them with a yummy bowl of homemade tomato soup!!
