After reading some of the reviews on food network, I decided to double the spices. I think that was a tad too much. In the future I would use maybe 1 1/2 times the amount of spices. Otherwise these were great!
I am in love with these muffins. I made a few modifications, like subbing non-fat greek yogurt for buttermilk and I doubled spices but didn't use molasses (maple instead), and the spices are not overpowering.
I handed them out at work after realizing I would eat them all if I didnt and they were unanimously loved.
These are delicious! I added 1 cup of chopped dark chocolate to the batter and 1 tsp ground cloves.
