Walnut and Dried Cherry Bars

Lots of bakers snowed in.  No groceries!!  Don't worry - when you get a chance.  They are good!!

  3. Jess - I individually wrap mine in saran or foil, then I freeze them in a ziploc bag and just take one out an hour or so before I will eat it. You might unwrap them while still frozen, so the preserves stick to the bar and not to the wrap!

  4. Great tip, Bri, on freezing them. I am going to do that now. Figure the swimmer can take them to the swim meet this weekend and by the time he gets there, they will be thawed...you know kids, if the preserves stick to the foil, he'll just lick it off the foil...lol. I, however, will do mine like you suggested! Thanks.
