I made mine last night. I haven't had a lot of curry before so I was a little wary of this one. It was good but the seasoning was too much for me. A dollop of sour cream toned it down. Probably not one I'll make again but it was nice to try.
I also made this last night and thought that it was a tad to sweet for me. Not bad though.
Since there were comments about this being too sweet, I made half of the soup without the honey. I think the honey tones down the curry spice, which adds a little heat if you aren't used to it. The yogurt, then in turn, calms down the curry. I like this, but thought that the honey did make it a bit sweet. Hope everyone enjoys!
I'm afraid I am going to miss out this week as well. We have been crazy for the past few weeks and I totally got the weeks mixed up and made the cookies for next week! So sorry! (FYI - the cookies are flat, thin and a little chewy with a nutty texture and taste from the wheat flour and they are quite tasty).
Hi guys,Haven't been able to find a butternut squash so far.... Will try to locate one this weekend, so maybe this will follow next week!
I really enjoyed this soup- we are having it for dinner tonight- Thanks Mare!
It's a good, simple and nutritious meal. I cut back on the honey.
