Tell All - Cacciatore

You know the drill....how is the chicken?

  1. I made this yesterday. It was simple and yummy. Nothing too wow! about it, but we enjoyed it. A good, hearty dish

  2. I am making this tonight and hope it turns out well. This will be my first chicken cacciatore.

    I am using a whole, cut chicken instead of skinless breasts and I'm using cremini mushrooms.

  3. I made this last night. It was fine, but we both thought the flavor could be amped up a bit. I'd suggest more red peppers or even some smoked spanish paprika.

  4. I agree with Leslie and Pamela that this could have a bit more flavor added. And my sauce was a bit thin so I added extra tomatoes.

  5. I cooked this last night.
    My husband liked it, but the chicken wasn't as tender as he wanted. I was a bit too enthusiastic by doing a vegetarian version which probably compromised both dinners. The sauce was very good. I used fresh vine ripe tomatoes instead of canned.

  6. We just had this for dinner and thought it was great using fired roasted diced tomatoes. I also used boneless, skinless chicken breasts.

  7. I used italian diced tomatoes and amped up the red pepper. We thought it was great.

  8. I was planning on cooking ours for dinner. However, I have a terrible cold and was in no mood to cook dinner. It will be coming soon though. I promise.
