How is everyone liking this? Not unlike the salmon from last week, not everyone has a taste for lamb. Personally, I love lamb. How about you?
I also can't wait to see what our creative vegetarians do with this one :)

I am not a meat lover, although not a vegetarian, but I am thinking about doing tofu stew. Ha ha- it even rhymes. I think I will just saute the veggies and then at the end add the tofu. I will probably saute the tofu and get some spices and flavor in there first and then add it. I actually think it will taste good.
ReplyDeleteYeah- I am going for it. I am not hard to please so..... we will see.
Again, absolutely delicious!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sitting out this week, lots of freezer meals planned as I'll be packing up and flying out of town later this week. I'm looking forward to reading about everyone's dishes and I'll join you again for the balsamic chicken.
ReplyDeleteI will be skipping the recipe this week. I am not a lamb fan and while I should go out on a limb and try this dish, I just can't bring myself to go there. I can't wait to see what everyone else thought about the recipe.
ReplyDeleteSo, I was really going for this with tofu, but I cannot fit it in! Sorry!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis would of been a "try something new" dish for me but I am checked out of the kitchen this week...busy week and getting through a bunch of leftovers. I'm so sorry for not participating! :(
ReplyDeleteWell, we just finished this dish. A lot to do for a week night which is why we broke it up into 3 phases. It was worth it. We did a veggie version (using beans) and the lamb version, for Ted. Both of us say..."GREAT PICK FARAH!"
ReplyDeleteI made it tonight, using beef instead of lamb as well as a few other tweaks, and I really liked it. I had low expectations because the idea of orange in stew scared me, but it turned out really well... probably not something I'll make regularly but still good. Thanks for the pick!
ReplyDeleteThis was by far one of my favorite Ellie meals. We do love our lamb, and this was exceptional! Thanks Farah (and Sara!) :)
ReplyDeleteI loved this, and I went vegetarian. It's so funny - the ONE NIGHT I get the chance to make it, it seems like more than half the group takes the week off!!! Hope everyone gets to participate next week...
ReplyDeleteOddly enough the only lamb I could find was a huge leg of lamb that I did not need and could not afford. Instead I purchased beef. I will be making this on Friday.
ReplyDeleteTo the tofu person...do you press your tofu first? That makes it have a very nice texture.
We skipped this one, since lamb is not readily available in my area. I am looking forward to the next recipe, though.
