CEIMB Under New Management

Hi Everyone,

Sara here from Imafoodblog. You may have seen that our
fearless leader,Natalie of What’s for Supper, recently
posted that she was looking for someone to take over CEIMB
so that she could focus on other things.

I am excited to announce that I have volunteered to do that,
along with my wonderfully charming and handsome boyfriend
Nick, who will be doing most of the webmastery stuff. (We need
him, because I call it webmastery stuff).

I think we all owe a collective thanks to Natalie for doing
such a great job managing this group until now, and I hope
she will still participate in CEIMB when she can.
THANKS NATALIE!!

You may see some minor site changes as we play around with
the layout and settings. We are also trying to come up with some
ideas for how we can publicize this group better and make membership beneficial for everyone involved. We are open to any ideas that you might have to improve the site and the group in general. We will post updates on any changes and hope to add some new features to the site/group. Please sign up for the feeds (either in a reader or via email - new links already on the page) if you would like to stay abreast of the (hopefully) exciting new stuff!

Thanks for participating and I hope everyone enjoyed their fish tacos
this week, courtesy of yours truly.

  3. Thanks guys! As far as suggestions, what about opening up the recipe choice to include Ellie's online recipes on her website and the Food Network website? I don't know what percentage overlap with the book, but I have seen some great things on Ellie's show that aren't in the book. And maybe doing a mass tastespotting post? I'm still a newbie, but I look forward to cooking with you guys!

  4. Sara and Nick, you're my heroes! Natalie did a fabulous job and I was so afraid no one would be able to take her place.

Since so many of us also belong to Tuesdays with Dorie, how about a little shameless cross promotion in our next couple of TWD posts? I think next week's yogurt cake will be a big one after all the egginess. We could all just mention prominently that we belong to CEiMB, what we do here, and that we're looking for members.

    Thanks again for stepping up!

  5. P.S. But I have to say I like it that we're small. It means it's easy to visit everyone's blogs, read their posts and comment each week. And we'll all get to pick the recipe multiple times! But more members are great too.

  7. Thanks guys for taking over and keepin guys running. I'm up for anything new and I also like expanding the recipe out to others that she has posted on FoodTV.com...that's were many of her best recipes are in my opinion.

  9. Thank you guys for all the support. I've heard some stories about people having problems commenting on here, if you have any problems don't hesitate to email me (though I must admit I might have absolutely no idea how to help you) :)

  10. I just want to clarify to everyone that I actually didn't start this fun group. Leigh from Lemon Tartlet and the Dust Bunnies was the original founder....

    http://lemontartlet.wordpress.com/.

I took over when she no longer wanted to run it!! And...I will be around. Probably just not every week.
